Heritage in the Whitsundays

I had the pleasure of spending a fortnight living on Heritage, sailing around the Whitsundays with a group of people from all over the World. We had a ball, and this was the decision that changed my life, as when I returned home to NSW, I packed my bags and headed back up to Far North Qld to work & live for another 5 years . Whilst onboard, I asked the Skipper, if he could take me out in the tender to capture her in full sail … no problem… seeing as I had supplied my windsurfer for everyone to use & so I included it too in the painting . My original photo was also used for her advertising ! I ..I was to find her many years later in the harbour at Sanctuary Cove and up for sale … oooo I was tempted with my love of sailing ..the sense of freedom …the wind in your hair .. and being on a beautiful old wooden boat with history…. so bring her home onto your walls and hope you enjoy her as much I did and give you the same sense I felt ….
